Hey Guys, Recipe Dude is here with the brand new recipe of Sheer Khurma.

Sheer Khurma also called Sindhi Kheer Kharkon is a festival vermicelli pudding prepared by Muslims on different occasions. It is a traditional Muslim festive breakfast and a dessert for celebrations.

We're almost there to start.

So let's start.

DIRECTIONS:

STEP 1:

  1. Take a bowl, add dry dates and water.
  2. Let it soaked for 3-4 hours.
  3. Set it aside.

STEP 2:

  1. Take a saucepan.
  2. Bring soaked dry dates and water to boil.
  3. Boil for 10-15 minutes.
  4. Set it aside.

STEP 3:

  1. Take a frying pan, add Desi Ghee in a frying pan.
  2. Let it melt.
  3. Add Almonds and fry for 1 minute.
  4. Add Vermicelli and roast until fragrant.
  5. Set it aside.

STEP 4:

  1.  Take a pot, add milk, sugar, and green cardamom.
  2. Mix them well.
  3. Bring it to boil and cook until sugar is dissolved.

STEP 5:

  1.  Add roasted vermicelli in a pot with other substance.
  2. Mix them well.
  3. Cook on low flame for about 20 minutes until the milk is reduced to half.
  4. Keep mixing in between.

STEP 6:

  1. Cut the dry dates into slices.
  2. Then add boiled dry dates.
  3. Mix it well.
  4. Cook for about 5-6 minutes.
STEP 7:
  1. Crush Barfi with hands.
  2. Turn of the flame.
  3. Add Barfi and mix well.
  4. Add Pistachio & almonds.
  5. Taaadaaaaa! You've done it.
  6. Your Sheer Khurma is ready. 
  7. Let's serve.
